This project, in the final stages of design, includes a primary residence located on the coast of Wilmington, North Carolina. The strategies with this design have centered around maximizing the broad views of the intercoastal waterway and barrier islands afforded by the site. We’ve achieved this by carefully locating the house and ancillary programs on the site and providing abundant glass and modern detailing to breakdown the distinction between interior and exterior spaces. The front of the house maintains a more traditional appearance providing privacy and contextually sensitive integration with the neighboring house. The project includes a main dwelling, spa, casita, garage, and abundant outdoor living areas surrounding a pool. Construction is expected to be completed in 2026.
